Our History
In the year 1980 a Nagir family named Prakash & Kalpana Joshipura shifted to the holy village of Halol near the hills of Pavagadh in the district of Panchmahal of Gujarat State. Halol was a developed town where the number of scope for industries but educationally the whole district was considered as backward. There were only a few schools.
Looking to the need of education in Halol an idea struck in our mind to provide the best education to the society, to avoid commercialisation in the field of education, to serve the needy people and for the upliftment of girl education and working parents, we have decided to esatblish an institution.
With great zeal and efforts of entire family and local personalities this idea conceived. At last, in the year 1986 our dreams came true and on 1st August it was named as KALARAV. The first day only 12 tiny tots started their journey in our 10' x 10' drawing room (a rented house).
In the year 1987 local people and parents realised the real value based education and Kalarav had started one more class of Lower KG having 2 teachers. Strength was increased upto 80. The room was too small to accomodate all so we have shifted to a new rented house. In the year 1989 Kalarav has completed its Pre- Primary education and to start a Primary education in both the medium (English and Gujarati). Trust has decided for an open space and school has constructed 3 rooms on ground floor.
Many obstacles and struggle strengthen our moral. With God grace the mission was succeed and qualitative education brought the name and fame to school. In the year 1989 the strength reached upto 250 students and class upto 2nd. Gradually every year we have extended the building and class with all round excellence of Students, Parents and Teachers.
Awake, Arise and Stop not till the goal is achieved, the slogan of Shri Swami Vivekanada inspired us and we have never looked back to turn this institute into a Modern Nalanda or Taxshila.
At present School is run by KALARAV NURSERY TRUST registered under Bombay Public Trust Act 1956 having its ETG NO. with sound position with the concept of only education. Trust provides freeship and scholarship to needy students in and out of Halol. Trust also gives the books and clothes to students.
School has its own four storyed building having 60 well furnished classrooms, four science and IT laboratories to provide the theoretical and practical knowledge for all classes. It has 2 mediums English and Gujarati where 2700 students develop their future and eager to serve the mother India. Level of classes from NURSERY to 12th SCIENCE & COMMERCE in English Medium as well as Gujarati Medium. There are 85 Lady & 10 Male Teachers to guide the bandwagon of school.
The slogan of school inspires everyone to inculcate the National Feelings and motivate to be smart and good in the society.
